A great game, love the functionality and it really retains the whole doom feel. Well programmed and very retro, reminds me of the good ol' days before XBOXs and Playstations!
Grats! 5/5

Awesome movie, has an incredibly high prodcution value feel. Nicely produced, and professionally polished. Look forward to #4...

It's overdone. All you have to do is one your next button
on(release){
nextFrame();
}
and on your back button
on(release){
nextFrame();
}
That's pretty much your whole tutorial in one. Although it is v.good for beginners and currentframe is extremely useful for game coding.

Thats true, you could use that code. I wrote the tutorial to help people who may not have a lot of experience with actionscript.
I chose to use the code I did, because if you apply common sense to it, you can use that code for a ton of different things, sort of like a little intro to actionscript.
Also, how will the same code do two different things?

Nice mechanic but it's not yours. Obviously following Emanuele Feronato's tutorial. You could have added your own touch, some extra features. Ripping it stragiht from a tutorial won't do you any good as they are there for a platform to elevate your idea and expand on what is being given to you. You should at least have taken some time on the graphics.

It was mildly fun but extremely easy, I got to wave 20 something and just couldn't be bothered anymore. Just stick a bunch of guys at the entrance and keep upgrading them and the enemies never get past the next tile after spawning. Saying that it was well produced and easy to understand, and got straight to the point instead of mkaing it really complicated ike some other defense games of this kind. So overall it weren't bad but could have been a whole load better.

Author's Response:
have you finished it to the end?
other guys are really tough, they WILL get past your defenses.
i didn't say they COULD or they MIGHT, I said they WILL...

Very profressional and slick, all I can say is that I feel some of the voice acting was a bit wooden and 'acted' if that makes sense. but all in all very good reminded me of like the Simpsons/Family Guy. Got some laughs out of it. Also just in case you never knew when yu rolloever the voice actor for Jim his name comes up as Masako...just to let you know.
Take care,
